Information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide when you create an account, leave a reflection, contact us, or opt into updates. This may include your name or pseudonym, email address, mobile number, reflection text, selected reactions, communication preferences, and consent records.

We also receive basic technical information needed to protect the service, such as timestamps, browser information, and security signals. We do not ask for a password when you use a magic link, and account passwords are handled by our authentication provider when password access is enabled.

How we use information

We use information to operate My Many Selves, authenticate accounts, process and moderate reflections, respond to private requests, prevent abuse, maintain security, and deliver optional updates you have requested.

Creating an account or leaving a reflection does not subscribe you to marketing. We do not sell personal information.

Reflections and public sharing

Reflections are reviewed before publication. If approved, the display name, reflection text, selected descriptive reactions, and the date may appear on the relevant episode page. Your email, mobile number, and private contact preferences are not displayed publicly.

If you allow quotation, we use the name visibility choice you selected. You can request removal of a reflection through your account or by contacting us.

Your choices and rights

• Change or withdraw optional communication preferences from your account.
• Unsubscribe from optional updates at any time.
• Request removal of a reflection.
• Delete your account and request deletion or redaction of personal information, subject to records we must retain for security, legal, or consent-accountability purposes.

Consent history is kept separately from current preferences so we can respect withdrawals and maintain an accurate record of what was chosen.
